Out-of-Home Respite
Out-of-home respite care typically involves adult day care centers or residential programs. Adult day centers provide care during daytime hours from Monday to Friday. Meals and snacks are typically included but overnight services are not provided.
Residential programs are for temporary care that includes overnight services. 24 hour care will be provided in a facility such as a nursing home or hospital.

Who Qualifies for Respite Care?
Illuminated Hearts provides respite care services to seniors, adults with disabilities, and children with disabilities. Disabilities can be physical or intellectual. Seniors with Alzheimer’s or Dementia can also receive respite care. Our trained healthcare providers are prepared to help with any and all care needs.
